AP chooses ‘Love Letter’ in their Top Ten for 2010
The year-end lists are starting to come out lauding what the “bests” were for everything from cars to movies to recipes for vegetable lasagna! The realm of musical “tops” is no exception, and The Associated Press has gotten things rolling with its Top Ten Albums of the Year.
For 2010, R. Kelly earned a spot at #5 for his latest release, Love Letter. It seems the R&B singer has started to shed some of the negative press that’s haunted him the last few years in favor of a return to doing what he does best - making memorable music.
Obviously, the AP agrees. Here’s what they say about Love Letter:
“No midgets, no booty calls, no sex in the kitchen. R. Kelly trades perversion for perfection on the old-school throwback “Love Letter” - classy and classic.”
Other Top Tenners include Taylor Swift, Janelle Monae, Eminem, Gorillaz, and Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs. To see the full list, click here.
